The PPI claims company set up by the company behind rogue brokerage firm Yes Loans have secured £4m. The “We Fight Any Claim” company is run by Simon Chorlton, the son of Keith Chorlton. Keith was the owner of Yes Loans. Simon is working with Keith’s widow, Joy. The company is based in Cwmbran, South Wales with a 600 full-time staff.
Accounts for the year ending October 31, 2014 showed a jump in sales at £10.5 million to £17.4 million. It only made losses of £175,000 after making a £4 million profit.
Customers seeking PPI refunds was “as strong as ever” according to We Fight Any Claim Communications Director Simon Evans. He said the firm won customer payments totalling £7.5 million in July.
‘People are still there to be convinced they had PPI in the first place. People who had their claims rejected are now being paid.’
Evans said the company operates within legitimate standards, particularly with cold-call troubles. Evans pointed out the company only called consumers who “opted to receive a call”
